  • Watch the iTunes section of the DVD
  • Review the iTunes desktop
  • Add Songs To Library
    • Insert AUDIO CD
      • The tracks will appear under Song Name
      • Drag the songs over to the Library
        • If using a data disc with songs,
          File -> Add to Library -> Find the song on your CD
  • Create Playlists
    • File -> New Playlist
    • Name the Playlist
    • Drag song files to you’re your Playlist file
  • Create a Smart Playlist
    • File ->New Smart Playlist
    • Identify your search parameters
  • iTunes Radio
    • Under the Source List, Select RADIO
    • In the new menu, select the type of radio station
    • Select the specific station
  • Using the Equalizers
  • Burning Audio CDs

 

  • Watch the iPhoto Section of the DVD.
  • Review the iPhoto Desktop
  • Import Photos from a CD
    • File-> Import -> Fine where your pictures (CD, Camera, etc)
  • Create an Album
    • File - > New Album
    • Give the album a name
    • Drag the pictures from the Library into the Album
  • Open Photos
    • Select Organize
    • Click on the picture you’d like to open
  • Enhance Photo
    • Open the photo
    • Click on the Enhance symbol
  • Remove Red Eye
    • Open the Photo
    • The curser will change to a cross
    • Draw a square around the eye to have the red removed
    • Click on the Red Eye symbol
  • Creating a Slide Show
  • Creating a Book
  • Saving the book as an Electronic Book
Homework
  • Find songs that you can use in your classroom to make your playlist
  • Find/take digital photographs for your slide show and movie
  • Find /take digital video for use in your movie.
